ATRUM MAKINA butter filling and wrapping machine with foil-wrapped blocks
Exclusive Agent & Authorized Distributor for ATRUM MAKINA Thermoforming Machines across the GCC

Tightly wrapped butter blocks — from 10 grams to a kilo at the same accuracy

Dosing is volumetric rather than by weight, because butter is a plastic product that weighing cannot handle practically — and changing portion size is a graduated handle, not a tooling change.

What this machine gives your factory

Protection that keeps butter fresh

A tight bottom fold in butter paper or aluminium foil keeps out oxygen and light — the two things that turn the taste before the date does.

Steady portions that save material

Accuracy of around ±1% means you are not giving away butter in every block — a small number that multiplies across thousands a day.

Weight flexibility with a simple change

A graduated handle changes the mould height and with it the portion weight, without long downtime.

Applications

  • Butter
  • Margarine
  • Hotel portions
  • Retail packs

How it works

It starts with a volumetric dose — weighing is impractical with a plastic product like butter — then forms the block, then wraps it tightly in butter paper or laminated aluminium foil with a bottom fold that keeps out oxygen and light. Feeding comes from an auger hopper or directly from the line, and portion weight is changed with a graduated handle that alters the mould height.

What you can configure

We build it around your factory — not a fixed model you take as it comes.

  • Dose range: from around 10 g up to 1000 g across model families: 10–25, 50–125, 100–250 and 500–1000 g.
  • Wrapping materials: laminated aluminium, butter paper, or ecoline.
  • Block shape: rectangular, stick or half-round.
  • Sterilisation: UV sterilisation of the wrapping material.
  • Traceability: hot foil or inkjet date printer.
  • Expansion: size change parts, and a cartoning unit.

Frequently asked questions

Which wrapping material suits us?
Laminated aluminium gives the highest protection from light and oxidation; butter paper is cheaper for fast turnover; ecoline suits an environmental positioning.
How do we change portion weight?
With a graduated handle that alters the mould height — a quick change that does not require swapping full tooling.
Is UV sterilisation available?
It is an option on the wrapping material, and we recommend it if your target shelf life is long.
Will it work on our factory's power?
We review your site specification and confirm 380V / 60Hz compatibility before you order.

What portion weights do you produce?

Send us your weight range and preferred wrapping material, and we will recommend the model family.
