Silicone seals for date vacuum packers — a tight seal, cut to your machine exactly

The gasket that decides your seal: matched to your machine's model, in food-grade silicone that takes repeated sealing heat.

Why this part matters

A steady seal, fewer rejects

Even counter-pressure under the bar gives a complete seal line on every pack, so rejected packs and failed vacuums both drop.

Food-grade silicone that takes the heat

Non-porous so it traps no product residue, resistant to moisture and microbes, and rated for repeated sealing heat up to around 230 °C.

A fast swap that prevents downtime

It is a cheap wear part — keeping a spare means your line never stands idle mid-season waiting for a strip.

Fits these machines

  • Single chamber
  • Double chamber
  • Continuous belt
  • Seal bars 500–820 mm

How it works

The strip provides the counter-pressure under the seal bar, pressing the film together as it seals, while the lid gasket stops air leaking and holds the vacuum in the chamber. Food-grade silicone is non-porous, resists moisture and microbes and cleans easily — but it stays a wear part that is replaced periodically as heat cycles accumulate, and its decline shows up first as an incomplete seal line or a vacuum that will not finish.

What you can configure

We cut it to your machine — send us the model and the size.

  • Matched to your machine: we cut it to your machine's model — send us a photo of the current strip or the model name and we will match it.
  • Hardness (Shore A): 40 soft, 50–60 standard, 70–80 firm, with sponge options.
  • Profile: square, D, U or flat, in thicknesses from 1 to 6 mm.
  • Length: cut to your machine's bar length and model, or supplied in rolls — 25 metres, for example.
  • Food compliance: FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and/or BfR.
  • Heat resistance: up to around 230 °C, with an operating range down to −60 °C.

Frequently asked questions

How do we order the right size?
Send us a WhatsApp photo of the strip you are using along with its length, or the name and size of your vacuum machine — and we will identify the matching size.
Which hardness should we choose?
50–60A covers most seal bars. We go softer for uneven surfaces and firmer for heavy duty cycles.
How long does a strip last?
It is a wear part — its life follows cycle count and sealing temperature, which is why we always recommend keeping a spare.
Is it food safe?
Yes — we supply it to FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and/or BfR, and it is non-porous so it traps no residue.
How do we know it needs replacing?
When the seal line starts coming out incomplete or broken, or the vacuum will not finish despite a healthy pump — it is usually the strip before anything else.

A photo of the current strip and the bar length is enough for us to identify the profile and hardness.
